No.25 North Street on the corner with Moon Street, the building was home to a tailor’s
shop before being converted to a pub in the early 1860’s. The name above the door
in this photograph is Sarah David, this is probably the landlady stood in the doorway
Sarah was a tenant of The Bristol United Breweries Limited. The Osborne Wine Vaults
was destroyed by German bombs in 1941.
