The
Dublin Porter Stores is not listed in directories throughout much of the 1960’s,
possibly closed due to the area being run down prior to the massive redevelopment
around Dove Street. The pub re-appears around 1970 as the Hillgrove Porter Stores,
it is still trading. The two photographs on this page were taken by Glen Young,
and date from 1995.
